Dr Graeme Blackman Honoured

At the Annual General Meeting of IDT Australia Ltd, held on Friday 31 October 2003 a Director, Dr Geoffrey Vaughan, identified the high profile held by the company through its Chairman and Managing Director Dr Graeme Blackman.

During 2002/03 Dr Blackman has held the following key positions.

" Chairman of the Commonwealth Government Pharmaceutical Industry Section Agenda - the committee which provides the government with strategic and policy advice for the short, medium and long term.

" Deputy Chairman of Medicines Australia (previously the Australian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association) the peak industry organisation for pharmaceutical manufacturers.

" Dr Blackman was recently awarded the Leighton Medal, the highest industry award of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the chemical industry in Australia.

Thus IDT through Dr Blackman is providing leadership in the pharmaceutical and allied industries and contributes to material and economic benefits.
